Hey everyone! I went to have a look at the NEW thearkworld.com last night and it looks GREEEAT!
We will all have lots of fun there and it will be up any day now!! I also learned last night that
rockstars are NOT lazy, ha ha. There will be a very limited edition of "State of The Ark" that
has a cover designed by Ola's older brother, and last night (with lots of help i must add) the
boys packed the discs into these specially designed covers, check out some pictures HERE!!
Also, the Beard competition is settled, hargh hargh.. :) The winning contribution goes something like this, roughly
translated from swedish:
Im in panic!
"-Ola should not have a beard because when my dad saw the pictures, he said that Ola looks "nice and wholesome"
with his beard and that he looked just right for working in the building trade. He also said that
if he kept the beard, Ola was welcome to join my dad's firm as a concrete worker. I'd rather have him on stage
instead so he can NEVER have a beard again or he might end up working in the building trade and
that would be a true disaster for all Ark fans.."
SO TRUE, that WOULD be a disaster.. Now if "Agge" would Get back to us with his/her
home adress, i promise that the artwork will soon be on its way... Congratulations!! :)

Denmark P3 national Radio hitwarning, "A-listed" at Radio P3 sweden,
great reviews in swedish papers Aftonbladet and Expressen, Single choice
of the week in Swedish paper Metro and this is only what ive stumbled
on so far, ha ha.. Let the good times roll!

The webmaster has heard the
upcoming single!! :-)
First off, i get a lot of e-mails rearding
release dates, and there is NO DATES
set, sorry bout the information thats been given!
Ola called me today and told me that
the band was in Stockholm shooting the
video for the upcoming single and of
course i went down to the shoot.
The title of the song will be revealed
in time but i was not allowed to go
public with it just yet but what i CAN tell you is that the
track is AMAZINGLY good. I heard it about
4-5 times and now it sticks like glue
to my brain and if this one does not
become a huge hit, something's very
wrong with the world.. It rocks big time!
The set was kind of small so i could not
use any flashes with my camera. I filmed
a bit though and i will try to get some
stills from that movie sometime next week.
I can also tell you that we'll have a little
contest on the site soon and the price
is....... Totally priceless!!
All Ark fans are in for a real treat this winter

The Ark have invited a band from the Czech Republic
To play in
Sweden during three dates this weekend.
The band is called Sunflower Caravan
Several members from The Ark will be appearing as
Dj:s at these
occasions and also, malmoe based band The Animal Five will appear..
The whole event is called NASTRAVI DELUXE and will
be held at
the following places:
Sep 9:th - KB, Malmö. Age limit 18, starts at 10 PM.
Sep 10:th – TIVOLI, Helsingborg. Age limit 20, starts 10.30 PM
Sep 11:th – STICKY FINGERS, Gothenburg. Age limit 20, starts 10 PM.

with their favorite music in the luggage.

Yup, Martin, Leari and Jepson will
go on the road with a couple of swedish
standup comedians this summer and
perform at various places in sweden.
As soon as i have more info on the "tour
schedule", it will be here. An article

Also, on Friday July 16:th, Ola will be at
Debaser in stockholm. Im not 100 percent sure
what this event is about
but it involves his
record collection
in one way or another.. :-)

The Ark delivered an amazing performance last night
when they performed live on the tv show
"Allsång på Skansen".
One song (Calleth You, Cometh I)
plus Ola singing a swedish classic song (Jazzgossen) with the audience
were broadcasted but after the show went off the air
The Ark ripped into It takes a Fool To Remain Sane followed
by a frantic version of Father Of A Son that sprung

It seems someone has registered him/her-self at hotmail.com with
the adress olasalo@hotmail.com. Ola had that adress blocked about
a year ago but after 3 months, it seems anyone can register it again
and now someone has done exactly that. SO, any replies that comes from
this adress is FALSE, Ola has a totally different adress that hopefully
will remain anonymous except to those of his own choice.

There's been some stupid writings in the swedish press that there's been a police report
filed regarding The Ark because of a party that went on in Växjö and also that Ola has offered a
free concert as compensation for the small damages that occured at that party. Well people,
its all LIES.. No police report, no free concert, theres not much to compensate for,
thearkworld.com was present at the party and it was no destruction worth mentioning.

of Nationalteaterns "Kolla kolla") and also Best Producer

be a radio interview for Kink FM. There will be no public appearances or acoustic sessions this
time since they will only be there for one day. But still, have fun guys!
